The talk of the town is what Kimye’s baby will look like,
but the team here at EWE is really wondering what their wedding will be like!
Can we expect a procession of Juilliard dancers triapsing down the aisle after the couple’s first married kiss?
Here are a few predictions we see possibly happening at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s sure-to-be star studded wedding.
Some of our visions are ridiculous and just for fun while others we consider to have the right amount of extravagance.
1) Diamonds galore!
Photo via HauteLiving
We’ll get to the ring, but first let’s speculate on how many jewels will be dripping from Kim Kardashian’s every extremity.
We predict instead of the $15 million diamond halo headband that she wore to her last wedding, she’ll be wearing chunky diamond necklaces, bracelets and earrings instead.
Expect to see: long dangly diamond chandelier earrings and diamond bracelets such as Sofia Vergara in Harry Winston above.
2) The Ring
Photo from InStyleWeddings
Or should we say the rock?
With this being Kim’s 3rd wedding we think Kim will choose a completely untraditional ring- implementing a color in some way such as pink gold or a pink diamond similar to Mariah Carey’s pictured above when she wed Nick Cannon.
Kanye is a trend-setter.
He will be giving Kim a ring unlike any other that is a symbol of his visionary style.
At the same time, Kanye has strongly expressed his bond to his mom.
There is a rumor that he is designing a custom ring with his mom’s rubies and gems.
If Jay-Z gave Beyonce an 18-Karat ring that reportedly cost $5 million dollars, can we expect the same luxurious taste for Kanye and Kim?
2) Superhuman Beauty
Photo via LIME
Kim Kardashian is going to look stunning.
Her hair style will be an updo similar to Hilary Duff’s on her wedding day.
Her signature lashes will be extra plush with the help of plush mink fur which she has spoken about before, and her makeup will be done by her trusty artist Scott Barnes.
Her sisters will also look flawless right by her side as her bridesmaids.

3) Designer Everything
Photo from KanyeWest.org
Kanye West’s dabble in the fashion industry a few years ago as well as his daring fashion statements seen in his streetwear and red carpet choices make us curious to see what he will be outfitted in on his first day as a married man.
A recent photo showing his support for Scott Disick’s menswear line makes us wonder if he’ll go as far as to wear his suit on his wedding day!
Judging by his affinity for Louis Vuitton, he wil probably be wearing a custom-made, tailored to the nine’s suit by LV, but the rapper is also an avid Givenchy fan.
Photo from CelebrityFashionista
Kim, on the other hand will be embracing her curves in a fitted lace dress by one of her common red carpet designer choices, Balmain or Lanvin.
For her last wedding, she took the coveted Vera Wang route and had a strapless princess gown.
This time, we think she will be projecting a feminine yet stylish aura in all lace a la Kate Middleton.
Photo via Fashionista
Speaking of designers, it would not be a surprise to see Kanye’s famous designer friends Karl Lagerfeld or Ricardo Tisci show up on the wedding day.
4) Location
Photo of Borgo Resort, Italy from The Knot
This was a tough one.
Kanye has very avant-garde taste.
He would most likely shoot for a destination wedding in a place like the Italian or French countryside.
A foreign, secluded place has the advantage of less paparazzi.
On the other hand, the two might enjoy the convenience of an American location.
sa
From our properties, we think Oheka Castle in New York would be perfect in an ideal paparazzi-less world.
The castle looks like it could be one of the ones hidden away in France while emanating Hollywood-star glamour.
Located between the Hamptons and New York City, the second-largest private estate in the United States would be an accommodating venue.
The only drawback could be the fame of the site itself-making it accessible to sniping cameramen.
Photo via E Online
But wait, Kim and Kanye’s reported $11 million Bel-Air mansion location opens up the possibility that they could be taking hints from EWE and having their wedding in their very own backyard!
5) Honeymoon
Photo from The Telegraph
Every weekend seems like it is already a honeymoon for the jet-set couple, so what vacation could sweep them off their feet?
They’ve traveled to Paris, Italy, and Mexico together.
Their honeymoon trip will probably be a private jet destined for the Maldives- the ultimate island getaway, or a private island owned by a high-profile friend.
6) Decor
Photo from JasonMorley Flickr
Guests will know they’re in for a treat the moment before they even step out of their cars.
Kanye will be planning a spectacular entrance such as a tunnel of lights as seen above.
Photo from FancyPantsWedding
No rainbow colors here.
Recently, Kim and Kanye’s style has been oozing sophisitcation.
They will most likely go with an all white color scheme, or white with hints of pastel pink or lavender.
We expect an over-the-top amount of big, blooming white roses flowing across tables and from bouquets.
Photo from ProjectWedding
Have you ever seen swans made completely out of flowers like a piece of a parade float.
That’s more like it!
7) Catering
Photo from Macaron Mag
With Kim Kardashian’s best friend opening a Japanese sushi restaurant and her and Kanye frequenting high-end sushi restaurants, we foresee some top sushi chefs such as Nobu Matsuhisa of Nobu being flown in and manning an on-site sushi bar.
8) The Finishing Touches
What can we expect for entertainment?
At the Timberlake’s wedding, Justin sang a song he dedicated to Jessica.
Rapping may not be wedding appropriate but Kanye does have some talented friends that could offer their voices such as John Legend or Alicia Keys, who were both guests on Kanye’s recent album.
A John Legend wedding song favorite is “Stay With You.”
All in all we expect an unforgettable night!
What did we miss? Do you have your own predictions to share?

Jessica Simpson’s best friend and former personal assistant Cacee Cobb got married this Saturday, December 15th, 2012, to Scrubs actor Donald Faison.
The couple has been together for 6 years.
The wedding took place in Hollywood at best man Zach Braff’s estate (a fellow Scrubs alum).
Some celebrities in attendance included Faison’s Clueless costars including Breckin Meyer, Elisa Donovan and Stacey Dash.
According to People Magazine and Paige of Bash, Please who coordinated the wedding, Cacee wanted a down home backyard southern style wedding.
They incorporated the tradition of “jumping the broom,” had both a gospel choir and a bluegrass band, and the menu included fried chicken, collard greens and sweet potato pie.
Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for some alternative desserts like apple pie, butterscotch pudding, and red velvet mini-cakes.
Guests even got a parting gift of a slice of yellow cake with white frosting in a mason jar.

Because we just can’t get enough of their extravagant, tacky, and spectacular dos!
Whether it’s an outrageously lavish event with every A-Lister donning an invite, or a small intimate ceremony for only the closest friends and family, we want to know all about it.
So which fabulous couples are competing for the title of best celebrity wedding of all time…
Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise
Date: Nov 18, 2006
Venue: Odescalchi Castle, Italy
Married in the lavish estate of Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy, Katie and Tom’s wedding was certainly one to remember.
Their 150 guests consisted of a huge array of stars including Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Will Smith, Brooke Shields and Jim Carrey.
The ceremony was held inside a beautiful converted 15th century armory, with the entire event costing somewhere in the region of $3.5 million!
Katie looked stunning in an Giorgio Armani gown as she walked down the aisle clasping a bouquet of calla lilies.
After exchanging Cartier wedding rings and vowing never to go to sleep whilst angry, a reception was held in the castle’s Hall of the Caesers.
Adorned with thousands of red and white roses, the couple shared their first dance to ‘Songbird’ by Fleetwood Mac.
Following the luxurious dinner catered for by Cruise’s favorite restaurant in Rome, Dal Bolognese, guests watched a mesmerizing fireworks display which was accompanied by classical music.
The night ended with DJ Mark Ronson spinning all sorts of tunes, and J-Lo singing one of her own songs.
The next morning they set sail on a friend’s private yacht to enjoy their honeymoon in the Maldives…as you do!
Cristina Aguilera & Jordan Bratman
Date: Nov 19, 2005
Venue: Staglin Family Vineyard, California
Tying the knot at the Staglin Family Vineyard in Napa, Cristina and Jordan made quite the impression with their luxurious traditional Jewish ceremony which was held inside a tent near an adjoining forest.
Aguilera sported a Spanish style dress designed by Christian Lacroix, which she teamed with a gorgeous pair of Christian Louboutin heels.
She walked down the aisle by herself and instead of a bouquet she opted for three single red roses and a vintage jeweled rosary.
The couple chose a snowy palette of creams, ivory and whites with silver accents in honor of the winter season.
Their decor was breathtaking with hundreds of silver birches, hydrangeas and manzanita branches wrapped in crystal lights.
After their first dance as husband and wife to ‘In a Sentimental Mood’, Christina took to the stage and sang ‘Lady Marmalade’ along with a dedicated performance of ‘At Last’.
The DJ spun tunes till 5am when waffles were served for breakfast.
Rather than receive wedding gifts the couple asked for charitable donations for those affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Posh & Becks
Date: July 4, 1999
Venue: Luttrelstown Castle, Ireland
Donning one of the most beautiful wedding dresses of all time, Victoria and David’s marriage was only witnessed by a select handful of 29 close friends and family.
The dress itself was designed by the talented Vera Wang and featured a 20 foot train.
After exchanging tearful vows, a single white dove was released.
230 guests were invited to the lavish reception including the entire Spice Girls gang.
The newlyweds changed into matching purple outfits and sat upon two golden thrones.
The couple’s first dance was ‘It Had To Be You’ which was performed by the Starlight Orchestra.
The evening ended with the release of hundreds of red balloons and a spectacular firework display.
Prince Charles & Diana
Date: July 29, 1981
Venue: St Paul’s Cathedral, United Kingdom
Dubbed as the ‘wedding of the century’ Charles and Diana’s special day was held in front of 3,500 guests at St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
A procession 600,000 strong lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the princess bride as she arrived in a glass coach and wore an antique lace gown designed by Elizabeth and David Emanuel.
The princess’s dramatic 25 foot long train and cathedral length veil was teamed with a beautiful bouquet of gardenias, freesia, stephanotis, yellow rose and ivy. The walk to the altar took nearly four minutes.
After the sensational service, celebrations continued in Buckingham Palace with a luxurious wedding breakfast.
They honeymooned on the royal yacht around the Mediterranean for 11 days.
Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston
Date: July 29, 2000
Venue: Marcy Carsey, California
Brad and Jennifer exchanged vows on a breathtaking bluff overlooking the Malibu ocean.
In total two hundred guests attended the event including Courteney Cox and Cameron Diaz.
The bride walked arm in arm down the aisle with her father carrying a bunch of Dutch Vendela roses, whist fashioning a gorgeous glass beaded gown designed by Lawrence Steele.
The after party which was held in the grounds of the estate was decorated by Pitt himself to look like a tranquil Zen garden, and saw Latin jazz band Gypsy Magic get the guests in the celebratory mood.
Lanterns, lotus flowers and a ‘Whole Lotta Love’ by Led Zeppelin were all present, along with a 13 minute firework display.
After the reception, the couple jetted off to enjoy their honeymoon in the Seychelles.
Katie Price & Peter Andre
Date: Sep 10, 2005
Venue: Highclere Castle, United Kingdom
If fairytale weddings are your thing, then Katie and Peter’s dream like affair is something worth getting excited about!
Arriving at the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage, true princess style, Katie stepped out in a bright pink meringue gown of epic proportions.
Peter wore a classic white suit and their impressive white wedding cake towered over 1 meter high.
Katie’s wedding dress from Isabell Kristensen was absolutely monumental, with Katie herself stating that every time she had a fitting she wanted it to be bigger and more glitzy!
In the end, the dress measured 3 meters wide with a 7 meter long train that was plastered in crystals!
Although Katie’s dreams really did come true, in reality the event was a truly tacky affair.
Elton John & David Furnish
Date: Dec 21, 2005
Venue: Guidhall, United Kingdom
Making history as the first same sex celebrity couple to marry in the UK, Elton John and his filmmaker partner David Furnish tied the knot only hours after civil unions were legalized.
The ceremony was a small private affair witnessed only by a handful of nearest and dearest.
Later they held a reception at their mansion which was attended by many famous celebs including Victoria Beckham, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Naomi Cambell and Elizabeth Hurley.
Among the celebrity guest list, the couples black and white spaniel Arthur was also a privileged attendee.
Their black suits were more somber in style, but Elton still managed to add his own flair to the look with a quirky pair of purple spectacles.
The $1.75 million after party featured an exclusive Ben & Jerry’s ‘vanilla and appleys ever after cake’ which was topped by two tin soldiers.
Wills & Kate
Date: April 29, 2011
Venue: Westminster Abbey, United Kingdom
When it comes to Royal weddings, Prince William and Catherine Middleton did it best!
Millions of onlookers from all over the world watched the happy couple become husband and wife as they exchanged vows in the legendary Westminster Abbey in London.
The Abbey was lavishly decorated with trees and flowers from the royal estates, and the bride was picture perfect as she descended down the aisle wearing an Alexander McQueen laced wedding gown by Sarah Burton.
The bridal bouquet was made up of lily of the valley, sweet william, myrtle and hyacinth, and the wedding bands were forged from Welsh gold.
After leaving Westminster Abbey in a 1902 State Landau they rode to Buckingham Palace where the Queen hosted a reception for 650 guests.
Later that evening Prince Charles hosted a dinner dance for the couple and 350 guests.
The last song of the evening was Kings of Leon’s ‘Sex On Fire’.
Donald Trump & Melania Knauss
Date: Jan 22, 2005
Venue: Bethesda by the Sea Episcopal Church, Florida
With a name like Trump you expect extravagance…and boy were we right!
No expenses were spared when Donald Trump and Melania Knauss got hitched in a traditional ceremony at Bethesda by the Sea church in Palm Beach.
The entire event cost somewhere in the region of $1 million with Melania’s dress alone cashing in at a whopping $100,000.
Knauss’s strapless Christion Dior white gown laid claim to more than 1,500 hand stitched rhinestones, and came complete with 16 foot veil and 13 foot train.
All in all the dress took over 1,000 hours to make!
The reception was held in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate, with the couple’s first dance being Puccini’s ‘Nessum Dorma’.

Sources from People Magazine state that 60 guests were in attendance, with performances from Bette Midler, as well as Florence and the Machine lead singer, Florence Welch.
According to the Martha Stewart Weddings, Blake wore a Marchesa Gown while Ryan wore a Burberry tuxedo.
In her June 2012 interview with Marie Claire magazine, Blake spoke about her future wedding:
“What I planned before I got into the business has changed,” she says. “Now I’m like, ‘Hmm, I wonder what shoes Christian [Louboutin] is going to make me. And which couture house should I go to?”
It can only be assumed that she donned custom Louboutin shoes as she walked down the aisle, but she certainly chose a couture estate for her wedding location!

Celebrity Weddings can be highly publicized affairs with amazing features, the best catering, decorations, flower arrangements and photographer that money can buy.
It is easy to look at the wedding ceremonies of the rich and famous and get inspiration for your own nuptials, but actually implementing their ideas might put you outside of your budget.
The Answer
The answer is to find those celebrity wedding features that do fit with your wedding spending plan.
Basing your whole wedding on the pictures of some movie star’s ceremony or reception would be foolish, but taking tasteful tidbits from the spotlight wedding and injecting them into your own ceremony and reception can be a great way to add some extra glamor and style to your special day.
Here are some examples of wedding features that can be translated from celebrity wedding to your nuptials.
Kim Kardashian
The now infamous wedding of Kim Kardashian and NBA star Kris Humphries was filled with over-the-top elegance.
While couples might not be able to afford Kardashian’s eight tier wedding cake (which was reportedly close to six feet tall) or other ultra-luxury features of the reality star’s reception, one of the cheaper but more memorable aspects of this wedding can easily be fit into almost any wedding budget.
One of the weddings highlights was the heart-shaped Krispy Kreme doughnuts that were served to guests at the end of the reception.
This is a relatively easy option that won’t cost much (unless you have thousands of guests) and can really stand out in guests’ minds as a cute, unique highlight.
Truly frugal brides and grooms don’t even need to go with Krispy Kremes – any heart-shaped bakery items will do (as long as they are tasty).
Kelsey Grammer
Comedy star Kelsey Grammer was another celeb who went with a unique dessert choice for his wedding to flight attendant Kayte Walsh.
The couple’s cake was a carrot cake (perhaps an unusual choice for a wedding).
The cake was spectacular, almost five feet tall, but the extras, mini ice cream cones and smoothies, were what set the dessert serving apart from the usual “piece of cake” experience that wedding guests expect when the time for dessert roles around.
This is another example of unique “little extras” stealing the spotlight.
The mini ice cream cone dessert, or some other charmingly unexpected treat, can really make a standard wedding dessert into one of the most memorable parts of the reception.
Coco Rocha
Supermodel Coco Rocha hosted her wedding in the Loire Valley in France.
The ceremony and reception were held in a large historic castle.
Surely at some point, every bride and groom at least imagine having a similarly classic venue for their wedding.
However, they don’t need to go to a remote corner of France to find this type of wedding location.
Giving favors at the end of a wedding can be a tricky thing to do.
One idea is to opt for some variation of the heart-shaped doughnut creation mentioned above or something similar.
Another option would be to choose a simple gift from a classy, well-known brand.
When Jason Priestley and Naomi Lowde wed in the Bahamas, they gave guests Fortnum and Mason Teas.
This 150-plus year old brand has been the official grocer to England’s royalty and any of its products carry a certain sense of high-class with them.
Even the simplest (and cheapest) gift from such a brand will be welcomed by guests.
Creative Decor
An estate wedding opens the door for more-creative decoration ideas.
When Barbra Streisand married James Brolin, their nuptials took place at home, and the couple filled their swimming pool with floating candles and faux flowers.
This is another example of a relatively cheap feature that can become one of the most memorable aspects of your wedding for guests.
Final Thoughts…
Celebrity weddings, at least those that aren’t completely over-the-top, can provide inspiration for soon-to-be-brides-and-grooms.
While no one would want to (or could afford to) replicate an entire movie-star wedding, taking small features and using them in your own ceremony and reception can add a bit of glamor and style to your special day.
Do you have any Celebrity Wedding Ideas for the taking?
