When planning an estate event, there are many questions that may arise. Whether your estate of interest is individually managed or managed by EWE we have outlined some of the most common questions we are asked….
Things to keep in mind:
All properties with Exclusive banner are managed directly by EWE. All other estate and venues on www.EstateWeddingsAndEvents.com are independently managed. Please contact them directly for their list of Rules and Regulations as these FAQ’s do not apply to those venues.
What is an Exclusive Estate?
These listings are properties which are represented exclusively on our site. Our experienced team will help you manage every aspect of your special occasion.

Do you have F&B minimums?
Every estate venue has its own rules so it is important to ask the estate manager if food and beverage are provided. EWE does not have F&B minimums for our exclusive venues. We do offer catering in house but you also have the option to choose from a list of preferred caterers. Most independently managed estates do not provide catering services so an outside caterer would be necessary.
If I do not already have a Wedding Planner, am I required to work off of a specific preferred vendor List?
We do not have a required preferred vendors list, however, we can definitely make recommendations for any service you may be looking for. Although we are a full service event design and coordination company, we are happy to work with any vendors who you already have a relationship with.
Can we bring in our own beverages?
For our exclusive estates, we do require you to use our beverage service. Our standard beverage packages range from $25 to $38 per person; all packages are customizable to suit preferences and budget. For example, if you would like choose a beer, wine, and soda package option for your event, we can always add a custom signature cocktail to your package, adding some personal style without the cost of a full package upgrade.
For most independently managed venues you can bring in your own beverage service but most require the use of a licensed beverage company. Please check with on site manager regarding there specifications.
What is included in the estate rental fee?
For exclusive estates, The basic estate rental fee includes access to the property from 12pm to 12am, Estate staff (to help the event run smoothly, and luxury restroom rentals (if indicated or if the Estate does nor allow interior access). Insurance and permits if applicable. Estate Fees can vary depending on the scope of the event so please contact us for a detailed quote.
For independently managed estates, the estate fee may or may not include additional services, please contact the estate manager for more details.
Can I bring in my own caterer?
EWE does allow outside caterers for our exclusive properties, as long as the caterer is licensed and insured. The caterer will also be responsible for signing an outside catering contract which outlines permissible property usage, vendor requirements, and other guidelines. Please note that these rules only apply for estates with the exclusive banner
Is self-parking allowed?
Valet or shuttle service is typically required for all events. However, those arriving prior to the general event/ parking service start time are permitted to self-park at properties which allow valet service.
