Some may think that rain on your wedding day is bad luck or the worst thing to happen on this joyous occassion, but not for New York couple, Mindy and Jonathan, they had the most beautiful and romantic day. If anything at all, the rain made their wedding that much more perfect for the couple.
Mindy and Jonathan love to take trips to Vermont and they felt it was only suitable to hold their wedding ceremony and reception there too. The wedding took place in Pittsfield, Vermont at the beautiful Riverside Farm.
The two definetly embodied a rustic meets chic feel, from their wardrobe to where their wedding took place. For Mindy and Jonathan’s wedding wear they envisoned a vintage look, and more specially for Mindy a ‘pride and prejudice’ look.
Mid Ceremony, the couple announced “ceremony shots” as a representation that family and friends supported the union between the couple, and then Mindy and Jonathan followed with a toast.
Yet another surprise… They served breakfast for dinner instead of the traditonal chicken and beef combo. Mindy and Jonathan took friends and family by surprise with their alterations from the typical wedding form, but it only “brought a true feel of celebration, warmth and laughter to the room” (according to Mindy).
When its not raining, say your “I Dos” in front of the estates ‘kissing tree’ with the beautiful back drop of the green mountains, then head inside for the reception for the elegant, warm, and classic wedding. The vintage feel, will bring you back to a more classical time.
