What is a groom’s cake?
A groom’s cake is a decorated cake which is traditionally gifted from the bride to the groom. It usually reflects the groom’s hobbies and interests, including everything from favorite foods or sports teams to favorite beer/alcohol.
The groom’s cake is usually chocolate or flavored with their favorite liquor. It is the epitome of all things masculine, unlike your traditional white wedding cake.
Some couples display it next to the wedding cake at their wedding, serve it at the rehearsal dinner, or send slices home with guests after the wedding reception as wedding favors.
We’ve seen some great ideas, and we want to share those with you!
